Kuwait : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah warned that the deteriorations in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip would have ill effects on the region and the Arab world.
Speaking to KUNA on Saturday, Sheikh Mohammad revealed that he would be attending the conference of Arab Foreign Ministers to be held here, saying that the current events in the Arab world called for such a convention.
He indicated that the meeting would focus on the presidential dispute in Lebanon, urging officials there to refer to reason for the sake of their country.
He also revealed that the Israeli siege of Gaza and its catastrophic effect on people living there would be highlighted in the top level Arab meeting.
“Palestinians do not need speeches, they need action and aid for the time being,” affirmed Sheikh Mohammad.
Sheikh Mohammad was received by Kuwaiti ambassador to Cairo Dr. Hamad Al-Rashid and the embassy’s Charge D’affairs Mubarak Al-Adwani in addition to a number of officials.
