American team visits Khuda Baksha Oriental Public Library

Patna : A team of American Library Professional and Archives visited Khuda Baksha Oriental Public Library in Patna. The visit was made under an academic exchange program.

The team spent much time in the book section of the library. They took keen interest in prescriptions written on palm leaves and autographs of the emperors Humayon, Jahangir and King George VII. The team appreciated the works of Khuda Baksh, founder of the library. The team members looked impressed with the ongoing works of preservation of old, rare manuscripts.

The team comprised Nancy Barbi, a former school teacher, Broak Broaning, therapist, and Shagun Sudhi, archives librarian.
