Mumbai : French tourist office Maison de la France, in association with Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, will showcase Paris as a tourist destination during a Parisian delegation’s visit to India this March.
For the sixth consecutive year, 17 tourism professionals will be in New Delhi and Mumbai in the first week of next month.
The delegation will assist and support the Indian travel fraternity in selling Paris to the Indian traveller. This would ensure that Indian tour operators are well informed about various experiences, products and itineraries related to Paris.
Managing Director of Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau Paul Roll said: “The Paris event provides a great opportunity for the Parisian tourism professionals to establish and develop business relationships with key travel agencies and tour operators from Delhi and Mumbai.”
He said the Indian market was becoming increasingly affluent and more sophisticated.
“Moreover, this is part of an ongoing project for French companies to gain greater access in India and identify opportunities for long-term growth in both countries.”
