Kathmandu : Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has dismissed news reports regarding the killing of 12 Nepali workers in Iraq, the leading website nepalnews.com reported Monday.
MoFA spokesperson Hira Bahadur Thapa said Nepali embassies in Islamabad and Saudi Arabia reported to the ministry, after being asked to find out the truth, that so far no proof had been found to corroborate the news.
The embassy officials had checked with the Iraqi diplomatic missions in Islamabad and Saudi Arabia over the matter, the website quoted the MoFA as saying.
