Shimla : A leopard in Himachal Pradesh, trapped by villagers for fun, escaped injuring several people. But it was caught again, but not before clawing at a forest guard.
Villagers near Nirmand village in the Kullu valley, about 140 km from here, trapped the big cat in a cow shed Friday, officials said Saturday.
But the leopard escaped, injuring 15 people, one seriously, and then bolting into the countryside. A few hours later, the animal was trapped again in a nearby village.
