An Israeli Army spokesman told a local radio station that the missiles landed in an area near the Israeli settlement of Sderot, while the mortar shells hit an agricultural area in the Jewish city of Ein Hashlosha, near Gaza Strip.

The missiles and mortar shells did not cause any causalities or material damage, though farming workers had to evacuate in fear of another attack, he added.
