This is the reason that the party has enacted anti-conversion law in Rajasthan, Wajidi said. He expressed his surprise over the provision in the anti-conversion law under which a person wanted to embrace some other religion, s/he would have to seek written permission from district magistrate one month in advance but if to revert back to his original religion, no permission would be required. He said Islam does not encourage any forced conversion. Maulana Wajidi said, referring to Islamic history, that no person was ever coerced or bribed to convert to Islam.
