Chennai : South Africa were 212 for two wickets in their second innings at lunch on the fifth and final day of the first Test against India at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here Sunday.
At the break, Neil McKenzie was batting on 88 and Jacques Kallis was yet to open his account. South Africa, who had made 540 in the first innings, now lead by 125 runs.
India had posted 627 in their first innings.
