Bhubaneswar : Four labourers including two women were killed in a road accident in Orissa's Ganjam district, police said Friday.
The deceased were identified as Syamsundar Muduli (29), Bidyadhar Das (15), Binati Das (17) and Jhumuri Das (16) of Podapadar village, police said.
The mishap occurred on National Highway-5 near Chatrapur in Ganjam district when a speeding truck collided with the bike in which the four labourers were returning home.
They were working in a cashew nut factory near Chatrapur. While three of them including two women died on the spot, the fourth person succumbed to his injuries on way to Chatrapur hospital, a senior police official said.
