Kuwait : Two candidates for the upcoming parliamentary polls withdrew from the race bringing the number of contenders to 364 out of 380 who had registered their names for the polls.
The department of electoral affairs said in a statement on Monday that Anwar Al-Rifaee and Faraj Al-Shimmari pulled out the race in the fifth constituency.
Candidates have a grace period to step out, expiring on May 14.
