Malappuram (Kerala) : Two construction workers from West Bengal were found murdered at an under-construction house at Kondotty in Kerala, the police said Thursday.
The dead, Ranjan Biswas and Gokul Biswas, in their early 20s, were siblings and were from Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal, the police said.
“There were five persons from West Bengal working at the site. The three others are missing now. We don’t know what happened,” Gopakumar, the police sub-inspector at Kondotty police station, told IANS.
Ranajan’s body was found in the partially completed house Wednesday while Gokul’s body was found Thursday in the compound, covered with soil.
The highly decomposed bodies were identified with the help of labourers from West Bengal working in the nearby areas in Kondotty, 25 km from here.
“We have already contacted their relatives back in Jalpaiguri,” the sub-inspector said.
