New Delhi : India will send 32 more tonnes of relief material Saturday to Myanmar where a devastating cyclone has killed at least 24,000 people, it was announced Friday.
An IL-76 Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft will fly out of New Delhi for Yangon, an official said.
The IAF has already flown over 40 tonnes of relief goods including medicines, tents and food to Myanmar.
Besides, 19 tonnes of relief material were delivered by the Indian Navy. The total cost of the Indian relief operation has been put at over Rs.40 million.
