Hyderabad (A.P.) : The Andhra Pradesh unit of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind (JUH) has decided to go to the Supreme Court against the stay order of Andhra Pradesh High Court on the government’s provision of 4% reservation for Muslims in the state.
Talking to mediapersons on 10th May, state JUH president Peer Shabbir Ahmad said the appeal in the apex court is expected to be filed on 21st or 22nd May. Meanwhile, the state government which came up with the provision of 4 % reservation to Muslims in the field of education last year, has also planned to challenge the High Court order.
