Colombo : At least six civilians have been admitted to the hospital following an explosion in Sri Lankan central town of Kandy on Friday evening, officials said.
Officials from the Ministry of Defence said that a bomb was exploded inside a public transport bus near the Youth Center in Polgolla, Kandy around 3:50 p.m. (1020 GMT).
It is not clear who was behind the explosion, although the government usually attributes this kind of attack on Tamil Tiger rebels.
