Mumbai : The Indian equities market Tuesday opened in the red, mirroring the Asian market trends which were trading weak.
The 30-share benchmark sensitive index of the Bombay Stock Exchange opened with a loss of 86.14 points at 14,979.96.
However, the S&P Nifty of National Stock Exchange opened at 4,522.00 points, a marginal gain of 21.05 points compared to its previous close. But it quickly slid into the red.
