Srinagar : Lashkar-e-Toiba today claimed responsibility of the attack carried by its militants in Chattro area of Kishtwar last evening killing five BRO officials including commanding officer and his two security guards.
In a tele statement Lashkar Spokesman Dr Abdullah Gaznavi told News Agency of Kashmir that the militants of his organization laid an ambush and fired on BRO vehicle killing all the five persons including one Major on the spot.
He claimed that all the militants escaped unhurt and reached to their place of hide.
He said that attack was carried in retaliation of the ‘killing of Lashkar commander’ Shabir Itoo alias Abu Yasir in Doda recently by the army.
