Lucknow : The Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University in Faizabad is to start a high-tech placement service for students by conducting their on-line interviews with several blue-chip companies, making it the first university in the state to offer such a service, an official said Wednesday.
“We will conduct on-line interviews with several blue-chip companies based in different parts of the country on a regular basis. As the high-tech placement cell starts functioning, our students will be able to attend interviews of private firms on the campus,” varsity Vice-Chancellor A.K. Mittal told IANS.
He said that the university has already teamed up with several private companies in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and other metros to help students in giving their interviews from the campus, about 250 km from here.
The high-tech placement cell will start operating within a couple of weeks, officials said.
