Friendly Fire Kills Afghan Policemen

Kabul : Nine Afghan policemen were killed on Sunday in a mistaken clash with the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), the deputy governor of Farah province, Yunus Rasulit, admitted.

The official said that for some unknown reasons the foreign forces had exchanged fire with Afghan police forces stationed in the district.

After the shooting, the ISAF troops called for an airstrike, and nine Afghan police were killed and five others injured.
