New Delhi : A fire broke out at a conference room in one of the complexes in the capital’s Pragati Maidan exhibition grounds Tuesday.
The fire, which broke out at around 7 a.m., spread to 1,500 sq m area of the conference room in Hall No. 6 of Pragati Maidan, a fire brigade official said.
“No one was hurt. It took 20 fire tenders four hours to douse the fire. The cause of the fire is not known,” he added.
Some wood work was in progress in the conference room for the past few days.
