Islamabad : Four ministers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Friday rejoined the federal cabinet, official Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
The party decided about their return to the cabinet following the coalition announcement to impeach President Pervez Musharraf and restore the deposed judges in accordance with the Murree Declaration, said the report.
The PML-N ministers had resigned in May but their resignations were not accepted.
Pakistan Peoples Party and PML-N, the two largest parties in National Assembly, agreed in March to form a coalition government and restore some 60 judges who were dismissed on Nov 3 last year when Musharraf declared a state of emergency.
The PML-N decided to pull its ministers out of the cabinet on May 13 because the judges were not restored in time. However, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani did not accept the resignations of the nine PML-N ministers.
