Kolkata: The 5th Phase poll ended today in West Bengal. For 38 Assembly seats, 193 candidates were in the fray – Muslims among them were only 10 – the lowest number ever in this Assembly poll 2011. Among 10 Muslim candidates, two were women – one fielded by Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress and another by ruling CPI-M.
