Reliance Money plans 10,000 outlets by March 2008

New Delhi : Reliance Money, the financial distribution company of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, plans to open 10,000 retail outlets across India by the end of the financial year.

Sudip Badyopadhyay, CEO of Reliance Money, announced Thursday that the company would open outlets in 5,165 towns and cities. The company has tied up with Stic Travel Group, which will ensure their presence in 43 of Stic Travel’s offices in the country.

“We plan to have our presence in 5,165 towns and cities in the country through 10,000 retail outlets by the end of this financial year. This tie up with Stic Travel Group is a step towards that aim,” Bandyopadhyay said.

Under its tie up with Stic Travel, Reliance Money web-enabled retail kiosks and financial services counters will be installed in Stic Travel Group offices, offering money changing, money transfer, travel card and travel insurance services.
