Islamabad : President Pervez Musharraf on Friday telephoned Asif Ali Zardari, husband of late PPP Chairperson, and expressed his heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
Musharraf conveyed his profound grief and sorrow over the tragic incident that occurred in Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi on Thursday in which Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto lost her life.
President Musharraf said he shares the grief and sorrow of the bereaved family and PPP workers.
The President said a high level inquiry has been ordered to determine those responsible for this dastardly act of terrorism.
He said these people will be brought to justice.
The entire nation is grieved at the sad demise of Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the President added.
