Bihar minority schools to get 10+2 facility

Patna: Bihar Government has decided to introduce Pre University (10+2) education in minority schools of the state. This decision to this effect was taken on Monday in a meeting of Bihar School Examination Board, presided by the Secretary of Human Resource Development Dr Madan Mohan Jha.

Under this decision all High schools recognized as Minority schools and aided by the government will be given funds and help to start classes for 'plus 2' education. This decision will help 120 Schools.

The Government has directed to start admission campaign in concerned secondary schools from 16th July 2007. Inspection campaign will also be started in the continuing session in minority secondary schools.

The state Government has also decided to provide resources to the Government aided high schools like other higher secondary schools and all funds will be provided for proper development. Subject teachers will be appointed where there is lack of teachers for particular subjects.

The government is finalising the plan to provide extra financial assistance for construction of new class rooms, library, laboratory and other convenience is going on in final stage.
