Jammu : Panther's Party today withdrew its support for the Congress-led coalition in Jammu and Kashmir and said that the government failed to settle down various issues of common masses including some important one like  of refugees.
The decision to this effect was taken in a delegate session called by
the party at Jammu today.
Talking to News Agency of Kashmir, a Senior Party leader and MLA Harsh Dev Singh said "we had called a delegate session and the working of the government was discussed al length which proved to be minus with regard to Jammu division", adding despite of repeated requests nothing was done in the interest of Jammuites and the development of the region as compared to Kashmir was less.
He said it was unanimously by the party leaders and it was decided
that there would be no compromise on the issues like that of refugees
and equal assembly seats at par with Kashmir.
The issue of demilitarization demanded by the PDP, was not acceptable
to our party, he said, adding that discrimination with Jammu by the
coalition partners was one of the causes for pulling back.
He said we have conveyed the decision regarding to the withdrawal of
the support of all the four MLAs to the government.
Sources said the withdrawal Panthers party from the government would
not threaten the stability of the coalition in the state.
