Srinagar : Two Indian soldiers and a militant from the Harkatul Mujaheedin were killed in a fierce gun battle in north Kashmir's Bandipore district early Tuesday.
Security forces surrounded Gamroo village, 55 km from here, Monday night. Militants hiding in a safe house then opened fire, said a police official. The troops returned the fire and the fighting lasted several hours.
