Dhaka : Interim cricket manager Ravi Shastri said here Sunday that the secret of India's win over Bangladesh lay in the fact that the players followed team ethics and enjoyed their game.

"From the outset, I said very clearly I want to see you guys enjoy the game. The bottomline was team ethics. We might have 15 individuals in the team, but before the individual comes the team," Shastri told reporters here after India won the second Test by an innings and 239 runs to clinch the Test series 1-0.

India also won the One-day International series 2-0.

Shastri, who turned 45 Sunday, said the Indian team is a "great bunch" of players.

"I didn't go to the World Cup, I watched from here only. I kept reading a lot. But what I saw was a brilliant bunch. Camaraderie was fantastic," he said of the dressing room atmosphere.

"When you see these guys play the way they are, enjoying the dressing room, I see a positive sign."
