Hyderabad : Nipuna Services Ltd, the BPO arm of Satyam Computer Services Ltd, has won the best established Indian IT enabled Service (ITeS) company award from the Hyderabad Software Exporters Association (HYSEA).
A statement from the company said the award recognizes the contribution of IT and ITeS companies in various areas like quality, product innovation, export turnover and social service.
The contenders for the award were Hyderabad-based Indian ITeS companies, with turnover of up to Rs.1 billion in 2005-06. The evaluation process was based on the export turnover of the companies as filed with the STPI.
"We are extremely honoured to receive the award. It further validates our efficiency, capabilities and acknowledges our sustained efforts in offering the best," said Venkatesh Roddam, CEO, Nipuna.
Recently, Nipuna bagged the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award for 'large-scale service industry' category instituted by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
