India A to take on South Africa A in 4-day match

Dharamsala (Himachal Pradesh) : India A and South Africa A will play a four-day cricket match here Sep 19-22.

The players from both sides arrived in Dharamshala Monday, spokesperson of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), told IANS. Dilip Vengsarkar, who heads the BCCI selectors, will arrive Sep 19 to watch the game, he added.

Four thousand tickets have been set aside for students at a subsidized rate of Rs 30. The rates for remaining seats range from Rs 60 to Rs 250.

The game would be televised live by Neo sports TV, Sharma added.

The HPCA hopes that the match will boost its chance of getting a nod from International Cricket Committee (ICC) for hosting one-day internationals.

Former Australian cricketer and representative of ICC Allan Hurst inspected the still incomplete stadium three days back, and praised the upkeep of the stadium.
