Bucharest : President George W. Bush began an official visit to Romania to attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Summit opening Wednesday.
The US-Romania strategic partnership, world politics, NATO”s Summit and entry visas for Romanians to travel to the US are on the presidents” agenda for the April 2 talks in Neptun, on the Black Sea shore, with President Traian Basescu.
To show unconditional support to the US, Romania sent 640 military to Afghanistan and now voices interest to expand NATO eastward to be surrounded by allies by backing Georgia and Ukraine admission to the Treaty.
