Islamabad : Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Monday says the government would not restrict the movements of eminent nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan.
Dr Khan is a Pakistani and no doubt a respectful citizen, Qureshi told reporters.
“I think, he should be allowed to see his friends, he should be allowed to go for a drive, he should be allowed to go and have a meal at restaurant. I do not see any reason why he should be deprived of all this,” the minister said.
He however said that government was concerned about the security and health of renowned scientist.
