New Delhi : Now searching for a hotel accommodation and booking it at the best possible deal is just a click away. With the launch of iXiGO’s hotel search, a travel search engine, booking any hotel across the country has become much easier.
IXiGO’s hotel search will not only enable customers to look through a list of 4,500 hotels which includes budget hotels, guest houses, service apartments and villas, but also book them with instant confirmation, sitting just about anywhere.
One can search through hotels in 320 Indian cities through this search engine.
This initiative of iXiGO is a result of its model that allows travellers to search for flights and book directly on airline sites.
Aloke Bajpai, founder and CEO of iXiGO, said here Wednesday that this initiative put the best of all other similar search engines into one, thus giving the customer the best deal.
“We are bringing our flight search model to hotel bookings by allowing instant real-time search across hotel booking sites.
“By comparing aggregators like Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Desiya and some exclusive international content partners such as HotelsCombined, we hope to strategically integrate with booking sites of independent hotels and hotel chains in the future, to better manage their yields and lower their internet distribution costs,” Bajpai said during the launch.
iXiGO’s hotel search accesses more than 30 national and international hotel booking websites, enabling comparisons of room tariffs of the same hotel across multiple sites within a few seconds.
The hotel search engine sorts accommodation by price, star ratings and amenities and allows detailed views for maps and photos, all in a single web page.
