Islamabad : Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf Thursday left for a six-day state visit to China to discuss bilateral relations and international issues with Chinese leaders.
During his visit April 10-15, Musharraf will hold talks with the Chinese leaders to strengthen bilateral ties in defence and trade sectors.
Chinese President Hu Jintao invited the Pakistani president as part of a regular high-level interaction programme between the two countries, the official Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.
Musharraf and the Chinese leadership will review the entire gamut of Pakistan-China relations and discuss regional and international developments, said the report.
Musharraf is accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar.
