Commerical Accords To Be Signed During Putin’s Visit To Libya

Moscow : A declaration on friendship and cooperation and a number of other documents, including commercial accords, will be signed during the working visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Libya, a representative of the Kremlin administration told Itar-Tass, a Russian news agency, Thursday.

“An important step down the road of consolidating the bilateral contract and law base will be the signing of joint documents, including the declaration on friendship and cooperation, as well as on intentions to develop multisectoral cooperation,” he said.

The Kremlin official said an agreement on encouragement and mutual protection of investments is being prepared for signing.

“Besides, the preparation of a number of commercial documents, in particular a memorandum of understanding between Gazprom and the Libyan National Oil Corporation is nearing completion,” he said.
