New Delhi : GMR Sports, owner of the Delhi Daredevils, has arranged free parking facilities for ticket holders to avoid chaos and rush during Daredevils’ match against Rajasthan Royals at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium Saturday.
The entry for gate numbers 1 to 6, 11, 12 and 13 will be from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg and the organisers have arranged free parking facility at the Mata Sundri Road, Ram Lila Ground, and Asaf Ali Road.
Entry for gate numbers 7 to 10 will be from Jawaharlal Nehru Marg and spectators using these gates can park their vehicles at Velodrome Road and Raj Ghat (Power House Road) on first come first serve basis.
GMR Sports has also arranged for free ride facilities to and from the stadium to the parking spots. The spectators have also been asked to retain their tickets for validation during entry and exit to parking areas.
All the gates of the stadium will be open from 5.30 p.m. on match days.

Collingwood warns ECB over IPL
England one-day captain Paul Collingwood has said the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) should not create a situation for England players where they will have to make a choice between their country and the IPL.
Collingwood is expected to lead England’s 50-over side through to the next World Cup in 2011, but hopes “an opportunity in the future may arise” to play in the IPL.
“I have been on a holiday, I hear snippets here and there, but I’ve pretty much assumed we can’t go. I’ve got to be honest. I think players are going to be tempted when you have the chance to earn that kind of money,” Collingwood was quoted as saying in the Daily Telegraph.
“Players at the back-end of their careers or on the outskirts of the team might make a decision. Hopefully, it won’t come down to that,” he said.

Sledging to be there among Australians mates: Ponting
Australian captain Ricky Ponting has made it clear that there will be exchange of words between him and his Australian teammates who are playing in the rival teams of IPL.
“It will be fun playing against some of my Australian mates. I think in the second game we’re playing against Symo (Andrew Symonds) and Adam Gilchrist’s team, so we’ll have our work cut out trying to restrict those two guys,” Ponting, who is representing Kolkata Knightriders, wrote in his column in The Australian.
“But that’s part and parcel of this event and it will be fun playing the shortened version of the game against them where it is all about going out there and expressing yourself.
“No doubt there will be a bit of banter between us Australian boys out on the field,” he added.
