Mumbai : A huge crater, measuring about 12 feet and almost 14 feet deep, developed on the busy Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road at the congested Prarthana Samaj locality of south Mumbai Saturday afternoon.
Acccording to fire brigade officials, the reason for the crater’s development is not known. Though there have been no casualties, a water main pipeline can be seen.
While police and fire brigade teams have rushed to the site, traffic on the road has been stopped since 2 p.m.
Police had a tough time controlling the thousands of curious onlookers who rushed to the area to see the crater.
