Three more withdraw from electoral race in Kuwait

Kuwait : Three candidates for the upcoming parliamentary polls withdrew from the race bringing the number of contenders to 361 out of 380 who had registered their names for the polls.

The department of electoral affairs said in a statement on Tuesday that Bader Al-Rashidi, Bader Al-Baidan and Khaled Al-Rashidi had opted to step out of the campaign for seats in the assembly.

Candidates have a grace period to step out, expiring on May 14.
