Islamabad : At least 13 troops died and one was wounded in a blast on a road in Mardan that wrecked a Pakistani Air Force vehicle in Peshawar.
Witnesses say the explosion at the north east border province occurred when the vehicle was reaching a bridge exit. So far official sources have not confirmed if it was sabotage.
The police and rescue teams took the victims to the local Lady Reading hospital and sources say the fatalities may rise due to the serious condition of the wounded.
The blast coincided Tuesday with the Provincial Assembly approval of a no-confidence motion against President Pervez Musharraf.
