Israeli Haaretz daily says Tel Aviv would keep 7.3 per cent the West Bank and a broad area of Jewish settlements and return 5.4 per cent the Negev desert and complete the other two percent with a Gaza, the West Bank corridor.

The paper says the PNA would recover 93 per cent the West Bank, save polemic Male Adumin, Gush Etzion and other settlements around Jerusalem.

Israel demands for a demilitarized Palestine state and will not accept return of four million Palestine refugees, save humanitarian cases.

PNA spokesman Nabil Abu Rdeineh called the proposal by Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert divorced from the Road Map and the 2007 talks in Annapolis, US, that demand to respect the borders before the 1967 occupation.

Abu Rdeineh, president of the PNA, said Mahmoud Abbas rejected Israel proposal to trade the West Bank for lands and a corridor connecting Gaza and the West Bank.

Rdeineh called Israel proposal unacceptable since the Palestines “will only accept territorial unity with sacred Jerusalem as capital, free of Jewish settlements and the June 4, 1967 borders”.
