Riyadh : Organization of Islamic Conference’s (OIC) Secretary General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu condemned here Sunday Israel’s closure of the Aqsa institution which was subjected to abuse and robbery while the closure was in effect.
This was a clear violation of Palestinian Islamic and Christian cultural heritage and evidence of Israel’s intensions to tamper with the true identity of Jerusalem, said the official.
The international community should practice pressure on Israeli to prevent it from destroying and abusing Jerusalem’s Islamic and Christian relics, concluded the statement.
