Pakistan, India Still in Arm Wrestle

New Delhi : Amidst an environment of tension in which the US State Secretary Condolezza Rice appeared Pakistan and India continues in arm wrestle for the terrorist attacks in Mumbai.

New Delhi is demanding Islamabad to adopt strict action against the founder of Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist group Hafiz Mohammad Saeed and the also wanted for terrorism Maulana Masood Azhar and mafia chiefs’ Dawood Ibrahim and Tiger Memon.

Their names appeared in a list made up of 20 people the Israeli government gave to the Pakistani to turn them in.

The authorities insisted the LeT organized and carried out the attacks against important places in Mumbai in which 195 people died and kept saying the only one captured alive in those actions is of Pakistani nationality.

In addition, Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has rejected again his country’s involvement in those terrible event in this commercial and economic capital of India, in one or another way, and demanded New Delhi to share evidences in its power with Islamabad.

In an interview to With Larry King from CNN TV Channel Zardari insisted that perpetrators of such outrages are non governmental authors, but rejected extraditing those people.

If there could be evidences we will try them in our courts and sentence in our land, he stressed in his interview with Larry King.

The leader reiterated that his government is also victim of this terrorist wave and ratified his support for Pakistani officials and investigators take part with their Indian counterparts in a joint investigation of Mumbai tragic events.

Amidst this Panorama the US State Secretary Condolezza Rice arrived in New Delhi, to show Washington’s support to India in the struggle against terrorism, she said.
