Bhopal: R. K. Bhasin GGM, Hydro, FBM, inaugurated the Silver Jubilee Annual Quality Circle Convention at IFX conference room in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL), Bhopal unit here on Friday.
On this occasion Bhasin highlighted the importance of employee involvement in creative developments through Quality Circle and its impact on business results of the organisation. Prabhat Kumar, GM, P&D, emphasized on the importance of Quality Circle movement in long term success of the organisation and stressed on further strengthening the movement .
Kishore Purswani, AGM, BEX, welcome the guests and informed that about 150 Quality Circles involving about 1500 employees shall be making presentations in this two day convention while 27 Quality Circles of Kasturba Hospital had presented their improvement projects on 3rd & 4th Dec
It may be recalled that BHEL Bhopal has pioneered this movement in the country and has been conducting annual Quality Circle Convention every year. Grass root level voluntary improvement teams called “Quality Circles” present their improvement projects during this convention and compete for awards under various categories.
