Neo-Nazi groups are much better organized and more active than at any time in the past, the study added.

The authors of the report branded the Freedom Party of controversial Dutch lawmaker Geert Wilders who is also a known Islamophob, as extreme right-wing.

Dutch society is undergoing a rightist “radicalization” as thousands of young Dutch people have an extreme right-wing stance, said Jaap van Donselaar, the head of the study group ‘Racism and Extremism’.

“They are like a fish pond for neo-Nazis,” he added.

One of the reasons for the drastic rise in the number of mostly young neo-Nazis can be partially attributed to the inaction of the conservative Dutch government, the report said.
