New Delhi : State-run oil companies Monday cut aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices by over 11 percent, the seventh reduction since September this year, an oil company official said.
The new prices will come into effect from midnight Monday. Now, ATF will be sold at Rs.32,691.28 per kilolitre in Delhi (cut by Rs.4,208.37), the official at Indian Oil Corp said.
In Mumbai, the aviation fuel will cost Rs.33,719.46 per kilolitre (kl) against Rs.38,103.19.
Oil companies earlier this month cut ATF prices by Rs.2,480 per kl.
ATF prices touched Rs.71,028.26 per kl in Delhi in August this year. However, with fall in international oil prices, the fuel prices have subsequently been slashed.
