Gaza : A Palestinian faction said on Thursday its gunners fired a missile in the direction of the southern Israeli town of Sderot.
Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, said in a statement that missile unit of the movement fired a missile in the afternoon today toward Sderot.
The group said the missile was of Quds type, one of several types of limited range rockets fabricated by the Palestinian militants with the meagre available local materials. These rockets are largely of limited demolition capacity.
A spokesman of the Israeli Army said seven missiles fired from Gaza today targeted several locations in the south of Israel. These rockets left no losses, he said.
