At least 10 Palestinians killed, 40 wounded in fresh wave of Israeli air raids

Gaza : At least ten Palestinians were killed and 40 others were wounded in a fresh wave of Israeli air raids on ministries and security headquarters in Gaza Strip in the early hours of Tuesday.

The total number of Palestinians killed in the raids, now in their fourth day, was placed at 360, with another 1,600 wounded, according to Director of Emergency and Ambulances in the Palestinian Health Ministry Dr. Muawiya Hassanain.

The new raids, which were launched at 1:30 a.m. (local time), targeted several ministry and security buildings, as well as houses.

Local radio stations reported that Israeli missiles hit the ministries’ complex in southern Gaza, almost completely destroying it and damaging houses in the vicinity.
The headquarters of the foreign affairs, interior, planning, international cooperation, and finance ministries were destroyed in the attack.

Also, the Engineering College of the Islamic University in Gaza was hit, as well as Shams Sports Club in Gaza City. Fire erupted in the buildings and ambulances rushed to evacuate the dead and wounded.

The raids also reportedly targeted locations used by Ezzidin Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in eastern and western Gaza City. More than six mosques and houses of Palestinian activists were also targeted by the Israeli planes.

The planes also fired two missiles at the media office of the National Resistance Brigades, close to the Legislative Council in western Gaza City.

A truck carrying fuel was also hit, killing the driver immediately.
