Washington : The primary elections in the United States on Tuesday might answer the question of who has the best Democratic option to defeat Republic favorite John McCain.

The Super Tuesday elections will also test the consolidation of the so-called “Obamania” against the surprising resurrection of the Arizona senator, according to analysts.

Six months ago, McCain seemed to be at the end of his presidential race when he went through a serious financial crisis and several political advisors quit his campaign for the White House.

For his part, Barack Obama always seconded his rival, Hillary Clinton, in the polls, until his popularity escalated after the elections in Iowa.

The 46-year-old senator for Illinois, who was born to a Kenyan father, dreams of being the first Afro-American president of the United States.

According to recent surveys, the final race for the Oval Office may involve Obama and 72-year-old McCain.

However, according to the firm Rasmussen Reports, McCain would defeat any Democratic candidate in the November elections to vote for the replacement of incumbent Republic President George W. Bush.

The Rasmussen poll showed that McCain is 48-40 percent ahead of the ex first lady and 47-41 percent over Obama.

McCain, who has little capital and little TV publicity, expects to defeat his closest competitor, Mormon Mitt Romney, on Tuesday.

However, experts pointed out that his popularity may decrease in some conservative communities and among rightwing Christian leaders, who he described as intransigent.

Another element against him is his health, a controversial issue after several cancer lesions were removed from his skin.
