Guiyang (China) : All nine passengers of a minibus were killed Sunday morning when their vehicle veered off the road in southwestern China, the police said.
The accident occurred in Tongzi County of southwestern Guizhou province and most of the passengers were Chongqing natives.
The dead included seven men and two women, the police said adding that the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
The province, experiencing the worst winter in 100 years, was hit by overnight sleet Sunday, which made commuting worse on snow-covered roads.
