Pebble Beach (US) : Fijian Vijay Singh was tied first while Swedish golfer of Indian origin Daniel Chopra failed to make the cut after the third round of the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am tournament here Saturday.
Chopra returned with card of three over par 75 for total score of three over par 219 on the Pebble Beach Golf Links Course here Saturday. The other two courses being used for this tournament are Spyglass Hills Golf Course and the Poppy Hill course.
Chopra triple bogeyed the first hole and again found a bogey on the second. He found birdies on the sixth, 10th and the 14th but again double bogeyed the 18th, which marred his day.
American Dudley Hart moved up the leaderboard and was tied first with Vijay in the third round in the $6 million event on the USPGA Tour.
It was a marked improvement by Vijay as he moved to the top spot after starting from tied 22nd. He shot four birdies, an eagle and a bogey on the Spyglass Hills Golf Course and returned with a card of five under par 67 for a total of nine under par 207. Hart with four birdies shot four under par 68 for a total score of nine under par 207.
