Lucky has admitted to sending five parcels abroad from Chennai.

Lucky studied in Mumbai and came to India wanting to play football in one of the clubs here. A Nigerian friend introduced him to the drugs trade.

On Tuesday, the DRI also seized 20 kg of heroin valued at Rs.200 million and arrested one passenger named Abu Backer while he was trying to board a Malaysia bound flight at the Chennai airport.

The hauls are a part of number of drug seizures in Tamil Nadu recently. Last week 37 kg of ketamine chloride, worth Rs.35 million, was seized in Chennai and Coimbatore.

Another five kg of ketamine chloride, valued at Rs.10 million, was sized from Chennai airport last week.
